It has been several years, since I have been working together with large number of dedicated colleagues towards the common goal of strengthening of our community. Through this period, I have met many individuals from our community across the country. All these individuals, irrespective of their age, gender and status, have expressed a strong bond with their identity, their relationship with the soil. They all felt a sense of pride in what they are. It is this feeling of pride that glues us together. And when a common identity exists in a group of committed individuals, a lot can be achieved by them. It is therefore, my belief that we together can aim for and achieve the goal of brighter future for our Kunbi brothers, sisters and the future generations. Hence, we have targeted a multi-pronged strategy to achieve our goals, such as, guidance programs for education, facilities for stay in metros of Pune/Mumbai area, platform for like- minded businessmen and professionals to interact, guidance in starting businesses, guidance towards competitive exams, etc. A lot of these goals are designed to strengthen our community in the medium term in the areas of education, influential jobs in government, businesses, so that we create a strong network of achievers and build large social/economic capital and influence for our community. But the starting point for every dream is one single step. And in this endeavor, I think, let us all take this step together by contributing to the cause of DKVS society. I request you all to contribute by becoming members of Dhanoje Kunbi Vikas Sanstha (DKVS) and also encourage others you may know. The goals that we have set for ourselves are not impossible. We have seen other communities do it. And that has been the difference - that they did it and did not just stop at mere words. Now we need to do the same for creating a prosperous and strong DK community. Let us work together for stronger Dhanoje Kunbi community and make this dream come true. Thank you!
